Welcome and thank you for your interest in acupuncture.
We have exciting news!
After more than 30 years as an Association, we have decided to dissolve the NSAA and join with the Acupuncture & Traditional Chinese Medicine Association of Nova Scotia. We’re delighted to share resources and strengthen the profession of Acupuncture for Nova Scotians and other Maritimers.
Our goals continue to be: promoting acupuncture in Nova Scotia, educating the public, and ensuring that everyone has access to ethical and fully qualified professionals. We will continue to uphold these high standards and play a positive role in the alternative and complementary health care field.
If you are interested in joining us, or even to learn more, please don’t hesitate to reach out to info@atcmans.ca.
Benefits of Acupuncture
Acupuncture works directly with the body’s energy or qi, as acupuncture practitioners believe that all illnesses are a result of the natural flow of energy through the body becoming stuck, depleted or weakened and thus making the individual susceptible to illness. Acupuncture benefits the rebalance of qi through treatment of specific acupoints related to symptoms or illness present. Treatment is effective in removing these energy obstructions. (more)
