After completing a Bachelor of Science (Maj. Biology, Min. Psychology), Coline graduated from the only Quebec provincial program of Acupuncture, at Collège de Rosemont in Montreal. She studied acupuncture full-time for three years, and successfully passed the provincial board exam.
She followed also an intensive internship in the National Hospital of Traditional Medicine of Hanoi in Vietnam and pursued different courses in continuing education, such as Chinese massage (tuina). She has practised in multidisciplinary clinics, in collaboration with physiotherapists, osteopaths and massage therapists. Coline is particularly specialized in the treatment of anxiety and mental health disorders, as well as of sciatica, back pain and digestive problems.

Roddey began her healer’s path as a teenager in the 80’s studying massage therapy and various forms of somatic release work at Esalen Institute. As a young practitioner she worked with athletes (the Austin Ballet Company) and the general public (doing structural corrective work in chiropractic offices). In 1993 she began her studies in Oriental and Energy medicine at the Academy of Oriental Medicine at Austin and with her teacher Jing Yu Gu in a deep internal Tai Chi and Chi Gong practice. I graduated from Guangzhou university of Chinese Medicine with the master degree of integrated western and Chinese Medicine in Guangzhou, China. I had finished my internship in Guangdong Province Hospital of Chinese Medicine for 3 years and started my Chinese Medicine clinical practice in the TCM outpatient department in a hospital in China for 6 years. I found that TCM is related a lot with food, so I started my graduate study of nutrition at Mount Saint Vincent University to find out the relationship between modern nutrition and TCM. Although there are some conflicts between nutrition and TCM theories. I am working toward the better way to use the theory of TCM to achieve better nutrition, or ensure the essential nutrition obtained while maintaining the balance of yin-yang in our body.
My study field is in both TCM, including acupuncture and herbal treatment, and nutrition. I will target on the pain relieving, skin or body shape enhancing, metabolic and gynecological problems sorting, and healthy food guiding. I believe our body has self-healing abilities. So what we do is to help to improve the capability of our body to resist the invasion from outer or inside rather than simply helping remove the pathological products.

Marie Zanol B.A., Dip.DTCM, R.Ac #9266
Marie Zanol holds a Diploma of Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine from the International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Vancouver, BC as well as a BA in Psychology. She practices acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, cupping, Chinese acupressure massage, and instructs in Tai Chi and Qi Gong. It was while working in Japan that she began to practice karate and learn about the concept of ki (qi). She went on to study various styles of Tai Chi Chuan and was introduced to Chinese medicine concepts where she found a true melding of the health of the mind, body and spirit. She has dedicated the past 25 years to the study and practice of Oriental Medicine and has a keen interest in supporting wellness for all ages. Marie is passionate about finding the root cause of health conditions to support healing and balance for her clients. Marie moved to Nova Scotia from Vancouver, BC in 2018.
When Marie is not working, she can be found enjoying nature, experimenting in the garden, spending time with her partner, children and pets, volunteering with animal causes, and exploring movement principles through activities such as martial arts, dance, yoga, pilates, fitness training and paddle boarding.
